Bio

Alexander Tolchinsky was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and immigrated to Minnesota 1989 at the age of 7. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from the U of M, and an M.S. in Education from Fordham University. A wanderer by nature, Alexander has worked in a number of industries, including: Sales, Marketing, Finance, Entertainment, Photography and Health; he has traveled to many parts of the world and most of the United States, including a 9500 mile cross continent trek on his motorcycle. Recently he spent 2 years teaching high school English to new immigrants in New York City, and is now working on his first book as well as translating two primary holocaust documents.
